Fall of 2015 – After a two year search of just about every available property in Guilford, the Parks and Rec Commission approve and designate Nut Plains Park as the location of a dog park.  Shortly thereafter the Guilford Zoning Commission unanimously vote to approve the dog park.   The Guilford Dog Park is born…

The Guilford Dog Park is located in Nut Plains Park on the  right hand side before the Lacrosse Fields.  The park is approximately  1.5 acres and is comprised of a small dog and large dog areas.

The park is a community effort – a collaboration between volunteers and the Park and Recreation Dept.  The town donated the land, the community is building it. They need $38,000 to open the park and $60,000 to purchase wish list items. For more information please go to www.guilforddogpark.com
