After pursing degrees from Choate, Colgate, and a masters degree from George Washington University, Andrea decided to follow her dream and enrolled in the French Culinary Institute. Today, she is the Executive Chef for the Marketplace, sings backup in a garage band, and is the toast of the town.

Eriko Fujisawa Trotter
Sushi Chef

Born in Germany to Japanese expats, Eriko Fujisawa Trotta traveled the world before settling in Tokyo where she learned the art of sushi making from her mother and grandmother. Eriko left Japan to attend college in the U.S. Soon after, she met her husband John with whom she had three beautiful daughters. Last year when she decided to go back to work, she had two offers on the table: become the newest member of Charlie’s Angels or Sushi Chef at the Marketplace… She chose us!

Melanie Driscoll
Natural Foods/Vegan Chef

Melanie graduated from The Natural Gourmet Cookery in New York City. Early in her career, she traveled the festival circuit and honed her Vegan Vegetarian Craft at a Healing and Permaculture Retreat Center deep in the Redwoods of Northern California. Chef Melanie has been with The Marketplace since day one, and her committment to the art of clean eating is an inspiration to us all. In her spare time, she restores antique furniture, sings with a jazz band, and tends to her rare and exotic indoor succulent garden.
